Purex Crystals and Jockey Review

As a Purex Insider I was given a wonderful opportunity to test out Jockey's Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra and Purex Crystals Tropical Splash! I received the blogging kit from Purex Insiders in December, but we were asked not to post about it until after January 9th. I do believe I've waited a bit!

The Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra is very comfortable! I have to say I was a bit nervous to put it on, as it seemed small...but once I put it on...it was all comfort! It holds everything in snug! I look forward to wearing this sports bra during workouts.

These Jockey Tech Terry Performance Sports Bras are a moisture-wicking sports bra that helps to keep you cool and dry. There is a convenient key pocket (in the middle), so you can take your workouts anywhere! There is a cool reflective logo on the back and breathable mesh panels. It has a soft bottom band for comfortable support. The fabric is 93% polyester and 7% spandex. The lining is 94% polyester and 6% spandex.

I did not know this...but normally, you should not use fabric softener on performance sportswear, because the oil content prevents the wicking process. Well, that's where the Purex Crystals come into play!

Purex Crystals fabric softener are 92% natural crystals! They are a more natural way to freshen your clothes for weeks!!! The crystals go in at the start of the wash, spending more time with your laundry infusing them with long lasting freshness. Since Purex Crystals do not contain oil, they can safely be used on all laundry including athletic wear, towels, children's sleepwear, and everything else!

This was not my first time using Purex Cyrstals (as I had received a free full size bottle from Vocal Point last year), but this was my first time using Tropical Splash. I have to say, it is not my favorite scent...but Purex Crystals does not disappoint! The scent lasts and clothes come out smelling super fresh, even after being in the drying or hang drying! I do both for different clothes. I really have to say, I love this product (although I tend toward Fresh Spring Water and Lavender Blossom scents), because I love having my clothes and linens smelling fresh until use. I really can't rave enough about this wonderful 92% natural product!

The Purex Insiders Pack

 As a Purex Insider, I received an awesome opportunity to try out a new product before it has been released to everyone. The Purex UltraPacks liquid laundry detergent are brand new from Purex to be released in February 2012! It is amazing to be a part of something like this...I have been using Purex for many years and really trust the brand and was ecstatic to become a Purex Insider...never imagining they would be so generous with their samplings! So earlier this month, I received the Purex Insiders box and inside was an 18 pack of the Purex Ultra Packs and the blogging information sheets. We are never required to blog or share our reviews of the products, but if we want to they provide us helpful information and images to make it all easier. 

So, I tested out the product this week and its so easy to use! Just dry your hands before handling the UltraPacks, because water dissolves the film covering the laundry detergent. Then toss a pack into your washer - if using a front load - make sure its in the drum not the drawer - and let the water start filling up before placing clothes in. This helps the pack dissolve faster to work faster! It is suggested for large loads to toss in a second UltraPack.

Mountain Breeze is a wonderful scent...I really love it! I can definitely see the convenience and no mess of using these UltraPacks. These would be really convenient for those in dorms or apartments that share washing machines. So easy to grab one or two...rather than a whole container of liquid detergent. For at home use...think of no spills, no drips...no mess from the container!

Of course this UltraPack cleaned my laundry and made it smell great! I'd definitely use them again and purchase them in the future. And seriously, aren't they cute? These Purex UltraPacks are conveniently pre-dosed with Purex laundry detergent, which makes doing laundry easier than ever! These packs are filled with the new improved Purex Triple-Action liquid laundry formula!

I had the great pleasure of trying Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent because I am a Purex Insider! I love Purex products and it is really wonderful to be a part of this group. 

On December 8th, I received a box from Purex Insiders with a 33 load Mountain Fresh Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent inside! I was so excited! I have to say that Mountain Fresh is my favorite scent of theirs! 

December was a busy month for me, and I wasn't able to try this new product out until this past weekend. Oh my did I love it! The smell is wonderful and my clothes are so clean! It is awesome that the product is for use in all machines including HE. I really couldn't be happier with this product...hmm...yes, I'm very happy! 

Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent will roll-out across their entire liquid detergent line. Renuzit Holiday Fresh Accents

I was lucky enough to be one of 500 to receive a Renuzit Holiday Fresh Accents pack free from Purex Insiders! I got the box last week and inside was an Information Sheet, 2 Renuzit Holiday Fresh Accents in Winter Berry and Festive Snow, and 3 Free product coupons to share. 

 

While, I haven't tried the products yet, as it's not quite holiday season for me and not ready to smell the scents of the holidays, I do think they are really cute! I love snowflake shapes and love the bright colors of green and red! I can't wait to use them...maybe toward the end of November? I'll have to update with review then!

Purex Insider

Recently I applied to be a Purex Insider and received and email that I was not selected and why. And if I disagreed to write back, well I sure did write back! See my rejection email below.

After I wrote a lengthy email about why I would be an asset to the Purex team, I got an email back the next day stating that I had to re-apply, but as soon as I did to email her back and she would let me be a Purex Insider! Woo. I won them over explaining that I'm on FB ALOT and that I have a blog and that I just got a Twitter account and LOVE to try NEW THINGS! :)

Now that I'm a Purex Insider, I'll get to test products and be given cool pictures to post along with them when I review the products! I can't wait to try these two:
