Purex UltraPacks Trial

The Purex Insiders Pack
As a Purex Insider, I received an awesome opportunity to try out a new product before it has been released to everyone. The Purex UltraPacks liquid laundry detergent are brand new from Purex to be released in February 2012! It is amazing to be a part of something like this...I have been using Purex for many years and really trust the brand and was ecstatic to become a Purex Insider...never imagining they would be so generous with their samplings! So earlier this month, I received the Purex Insiders box and inside was an 18 pack of the Purex Ultra Packs and the blogging information sheets. We are never required to blog or share our reviews of the products, but if we want to they provide us helpful information and images to make it all easier.
So, I tested out the product this week and its so easy to use! Just dry your hands before handling the UltraPacks, because water dissolves the film covering the laundry detergent. Then toss a pack into your washer - if using a front load - make sure its in the drum not the drawer - and let the water start filling up before placing clothes in. This helps the pack dissolve faster to work faster! It is suggested for large loads to toss in a second UltraPack.

My "Sample"
Mountain Breeze is a wonderful scent...I really love it! I can definitely see the convenience and no mess of using these UltraPacks. These would be really convenient for those in dorms or apartments that share washing machines. So easy to grab one or two...rather than a whole container of liquid detergent. For at home use...think of no spills, no drips...no mess from the container!

Of course this UltraPack cleaned my laundry and made it smell great! I'd definitely use them again and purchase them in the future. And seriously, aren't they cute? These Purex UltraPacks are conveniently pre-dosed with Purex laundry detergent, which makes doing laundry easier than ever! These packs are filled with the new improved Purex Triple-Action liquid laundry formula!

**Look for a coupon giveaway in the future on my blog...for this product!** Also, beginning in mid-February at FreeSamplePurex.com, they will be offering samples of this product! Purex will let me know, so I can let you know!

Purex provided me with a free sample of their UltraPacks laundry detergent so that I could write a review. However, all of the opinions expressed here are mine.

Purex Triple-Action Review

I had the great pleasure of trying Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent because I am a Purex Insider! I love Purex products and it is really wonderful to be a part of this group.

On December 8th, I received a box from Purex Insiders with a 33 load Mountain Fresh Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent inside! I was so excited! I have to say that Mountain Fresh is my favorite scent of theirs!

December was a busy month for me, and I wasn't able to try this new product out until this past weekend. Oh my did I love it! The smell is wonderful and my clothes are so clean! It is awesome that the product is for use in all machines including HE. I really couldn't be happier with this product...hmm...yes, I'm very happy!

Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent will roll-out across their entire liquid detergent line. Purex Triple-Action comes in a variety of scents - Mountain Fresh, After the Rain, Lavender Fresh, Original Fresh, Linens & Lilies Natural Elements, Lilac & White Lavender Natural Elements, and Free & Clear.

Purex is a brand you can trust to be a great value and to always smell wonderful and clean your clothes. It is easily half the price of the leading brand. I've been using Purex brand laundry detergent since I was in college...easily for 10 years! I love this brand.

Be on the look-out starting in February for new TV advertising from Purex! Their "Prove it to yourself" campaign is coming back! Also, coming soon Purex samples will be available on their site - check for Purex Triple-Action samples.

I hope you look forward to trying this product as much as I have. :) Purex provided me with a free sample of their Triple-Action laundry detergent so that I could write a review. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own.

** Coming soon will be an opportunity for my readers to receive a Purex Triple-Action laundry detergent product coupon!**

Old Navy Bundle-Up In-Store Party

As a member of Crowdtap, I am able to apply for sample & shares and parties...well at the end of November, I was informed that I got a spot in this Old Navy Bundle-Up In-Store Party! I was ecstatic...this meant I was able to select 3 gals to join me...and we'd all get a free outfit from Old Navy! I planned my party for Dec. 3rd, but unfortunately, the party pack with the ever important coupons did not arrive until Dec. 8th. So, the party had to be moved to after my Orlando trip. After talking to the three gals - Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Nicole - we settled on Dec. 14th after work.

Upon opening the packet, I was able to find out that we were getting one women's sweater, one pair of pants, and one winter accessory (scarf, hat, or gloves) for free! Pretty awesome! Night of Dec. 14th, 3 of us headed over to meet up with the other at Old Navy in Harbison.

We found a manager and informed them that we would be trying on stuff and taking pictures all around the store. She was nice and asked if we needed anything to find her. So, off we went. Here, there everywhere in the store...finding items to try on...we tossed items in our bags until they were full...and even carried more!

After goofing around trying on the winter accessories, we headed to the dressing rooms with all our stuff to try on...had a mini fashion show..we'd all come out with an outfit on and take pics...and laugh or compliment...twirl and share. Until we picked out an outfit that we wanted to own!

With our selected outfit we went to pose with the mannequins before purchasing.

So, we had a lot of fun..and found plenty. At first we had felt there wasn't as much selection of items that we'd like or that some of us saw online, but in the end we definitely found outfits that we would wear. One thing, is that the Incrediboots were not all that to me. I was so excited to try them on, but when I did not one of the three pairs fit and they were all uncomfortable...so...for me I'll stick to Old Navy clothes, not their shoes.

All of the thoughts and pictures in this post are my own. The only things we received were the free items mentioned...otherwise I purchased items (a scarf, a sweater, and a pair of pants). Thank you Old Navy and Crowdtap!

Bil Jac Dog Food Review

I joined this site called BzzAgent and was able to be a part of a BzzCampaign for Bil-Jac dog food. This campaign included a coupon for a free bag of Bil-Jac dog food up to $18 and a bunch of $10 off coupons for me to share with friends. I gave away most of the coupons, but still kept one for myself.

For the campaign, they ask that we Bzz about it on Facebook, Twitter, Face to Face, on our blogs..wherever! So, I did that...and they asked us to do a two bowl challenge and video tape that.

Well, I decided to try this with my chihuahua, Parker. He's a semi-picky eater, so I was like what if...he actually chooses Bil-Jac over his regular dog food. I put a bowl with his dog food and one with Bil-Jac near each other on the floor and asked him to come over and eat. He started out slow...but eventually, he chose Bil-Jac and continued to eat it!!! I was impressed and shared the video with them...and now I'm sharing it here!

Bil-Jac is a high-quality dog food that uses 10 lbs of chicken to make 15 lb bag of dog food. They tell you how much on every bag! Bil-Jac has more chicken in their food because dogs are carnivores and this provides more protein in their diet than any other dog food. You can trust Bil-Jac for high quality protein, natural fat sources, high quality carbohydrates (no fillers), and exclusive nutrient protection technology.

Small Breed Select Bil-Jac Dog Food
Bil-Jac products - They have Sensitive Solutions, Select Adult, Reduced Fat, Large Breed Select Adult, Small Breed Select, Puppy, Senior with Chicken and Oatmeal, Large Bree Puppy, and Small Breed Puppy! Plus they have treats - Liver Treats, Gooberlicious, Little-Jacs, Yapple-Nanas, and PB Nanas.

I'm a BzzAgent and I received no compensation other than the free product coupon and discount coupons from Bil-Jac. All my opinions are my own and my chihuahua's! LOL! :)

Old Navy ActiveWear Sample & Share

On October 15th, Nicole and I went to Old Navy to participate in the Crowdtap Old Navy Sample & Share ActiveWear Promotion! I had two coupons good for a pair of Compression Pants and Go-Dry Top! Amazing two items for free! And one for me and one for her!

Two weeks before this I had won a spot in this sample & share and hurridly signed up! Then had to figure out who to bring, as it was only one for me and one to share. Well, turns out one sister said let the other go...and so made it easy and I didn't have to flip a coin or decide. :)

Back to Old Navy, we got there and found the ActiveWear. So much to choose from! We looked for Compression Pants and Go-Dry tops! I had seen some getting jackets for free, so we set our sights on pants and a jacket.

We posed in store in front of the black & purple jacket we both ended up with.

We each grabbed a couple sizes of each pants and jacket to go try on...oddly or not, we both went up a size in pants, and same size in jacket as normal.
Ended up with gray pants & I did buy that gray tank.

Then we gathered up the ones we wanted and headed to the register. Well, that's where the "fun" began! Ha...I kid... Luckily they knew what Crowdtap was and had been expecting some coupons such as this. What wasn't expected was that only one of my items would ring up free, while the other would not. Well, Crowdtap had said we could choose any top...so thought mine was fine. Unfortunately, we learned that Old Navy can decide for themselves what styles, colors are available for free. Turns out, we had to pick pants that said compression and rung up, and a jacket ... that said go-dry...no others. Well that changed my whole outfit, once figured out...gray pants w/ pattern, to gray solid...black jacket, to black w/ purple. Not, exactly the outfit, I wanted, but it was free and comfortable...and nice. Also, should mention that even though this was a hassle, the lady ringing us up was nothing but professional and friendly and really did try to help us get it right. All in all, we both had fun, and it was a great time hanging out and shopping!

Nicole in the pants she got for free with the top she bought. Jacket not in picture.
Me in the pants I bought (gray free pants not in picture) and the jacket I got (for free).

After our shopping trip, I ended up buying another pair of pants, the black ones w/ pink pattern at top, black capris, and a pink patterned top to match the pants from Old Navy online. :) I also had a discount coupon to combine with the discount on ActiveWear already...and got free shipping for spending $50!

The Old Navy ActiveWear is extremely comfortable and stylish. The price is absolutely nice when they were on sale! Pants $19.99, Capris $15, Tanks $15, Jackets $19.99. I love the way they feel and how they make me look. Very streamlining. And for being compression pants, they feel so comfortable while making me look great! Nicole agreed...she loves hers and LOVES the way it makes her look and feel. If you have a pouch or love handles, guess what...these don't show them off..they show off gorgeous you!

Thank you Crowdtap and Old Navy for this wonderful opportunity! Sign up and join for your chance at wonderful things like this! Plus you earn money towards Amazon.com gift cards and donation of your choice. And, you give your insight into brands, just like Old Navy! And, you get a $1 for signing up!
